Long-term success requires consistency while maintaining the integrity of your brand. High level of care should be taken while creating logos. Though there are different variations when it comes to logo designing which are sponsorship logos, affiliation logos, award and certification logos to name a few. The design of logo matters a lot as they provide you with lots of inspiration where all the designs do the talking. Studying and creating logo plays a significant role nowadays because it provides opinions about corporates and brand identity looking at the trends and colors used for its creation. Logo design includes a variety of styles from minimal flat designs to the 3D optical illusion. Lots of logo research, discussion, references are required before creating one. Thus this creates an opportunity for an artist to explore the designs. There are certain issues which should be taken care of in order to avoid pitfalls while designing logos which are listed below:
- Inappropriate Usage of Line and points in the logo:
It’s very important to have smooth and transitional clean look. Each line and points should be drawn and modified carefully. The proper and nice curve is required for clean presentation and visuals. Logos are composed of many lines and points in the making. It’s not always noticeable but when a logo is enlarged the issues like this becomes problematic and more prominent.
- A missing font in the logo:
Logo design is considered as a piece of artwork which is composed of lines and points, where the graphic designer used particular font fonts while creating logos but unfortunately those particular fonts may not be available with you neither with your vendor. Thus missing font often leads to being substituted by another font which creates a havoc.
- Incorrect logo color format:
After logo file formatting issues the next most challenging is the color mode. Different color spectrum like CMYK and RGB are required for a logo to get it printed on paper, clothing or website, here the main problem is that some colors would be easily converted whereas for some it won’t be possible. Again, a vector logo will offer a graphic designer the best chance to fix the issue.
- Proper alignments:
Composing letters and design elements requires full control over the sizing and alignments. The number of elements or increase in letters comes to a possibility that something does not align as it should. But on a screen or in digital usage, a misaligned piece of your logo can cause it to look blurry.
